LowerPlane uses read-only Checkr API access and cannot initiate background checks, access full reports with PII beyond verification status, or modify any candidate data. All API keys are encrypted at rest (AES-256) and you can revoke access at any time from Checkr settings. We only collect verification summaries and dates required for compliance evidence—not detailed background check content.
