OAuth 2.0 integration with read-only access
Log into Gusto as an admin and authorize LowerPlane as an API partner. Select read-only permissions for employee data, payroll records, time tracking, and benefits administration.
Complete the OAuth flow to connect your Gusto account. We verify access to employee records, payroll data, benefits information, and time tracking using secure OAuth tokens.
LowerPlane imports employee directory, payroll audit trails, benefits enrollment, and time-off policies. Historical records are collected automatically and synced daily for ongoing compliance.
LowerPlane uses read-only OAuth access and cannot process payroll, modify employee records, or change benefits. OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3). We do not access bank account numbers, SSNs, or sensitive PII beyond what is required for compliance evidence. You can revoke access at any time from your Gusto account settings.
